At ViaLactia Biosciences we aim to develop ‘game changing’ options to improve the value and sustainability of New Zealand’s milk supply. In close partnership with our collaborators, state-of-the-art biotechnology is employed to identify fundamental characteristics in grass and cows to be commercialised through precision breeding.

With pasture as the key asset to New Zealand dairy, we employ a team of forage scientists to improve the timing, quantity, quality and sustainability of our forage benefitting milk supply.

Our bovine research focuses on delivering signature milk compositions that each support and add value to a dairy application of choice.
